This is my first blog on this website. My intention with making these blogs is more to reflect on my learnings and keep a track of my “human revolution” than to make it appealing. Like yesterday I was occupied with my work from my internship of assigning ratings to issuers using equity implied volatility bands. I was occupied with mapping “Issuers” to “ISINs” since we are changing the background data for creating volatility bands. For now I have one to many mapping which I need to reduce to one to one based on availability of equity price data for different “ISINs”. And then since I am assigning volatility bands, I also need to add a column for ratings corresponding to issuers. So this is like a glimpse of my work. I also am starting out with participating in Kaggle competitions since I am an enthusiastic machine learning engineer and I plan to improve my skills. Yesterday only my first competition ended where me and my senior were placed 21st out of 150+ participants. Although we could’ve won with a simpler approach since we had the 3rd place solution. Okay this is it for my first blog. I will keep uploading blogs here and maybe it will be read by someone. Okay, thanks!
